Religious Education and Didactics and Teacher Training Electronic Journal
REER is a publication of the Instituto de Ciencias Religiosas of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso aimed at the communication of research and studies related to Religious Education and Didactics and Teacher Training.
RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
In Religious Education, the journal fosters the promotion and broadcasting of relevant research in the theological, religious, ethical, and educative disciplines and their interdisciplinary relations to contribute from the theoretical and practical perspective to the construction of knowledge associated with children, teenager, and adult religious education at school, faith communities, universities, and graduate training institutions.
The journal receives contributions of national and international and interdisciplinary relevant discussion such as:

In Religious Education Didactics, the journal fosters the promotion and broadcasting of relevant national and international research associated with training processes and practices of religious education to contribute from the theoretical and empirical perspective to the construction of knowledge in children, teenager, and adult education at school, faith communities, universities, and graduate training institutions.
The journal receives contributions of relevant discussion such as:
- Religious Education Studies.
- Training Processes and Religious Education Didactics.
- Religious teaching and learning didactical modalities in plural contexts.
- Methodologies of religious education based on schools, universities and graduate training institutions.
- Didactical perspectives according to formative subjects and cultural, religious, and social contexts.

- Ethical, Moral, and Value Education.
- Didactics of formative factors such as gender, race, and religious pluralism.

TEACHER TRAINING
In Teacher Training, focused on School Religious Teaching, the journal fosters the promotion and broadcasting of relevant national and international research in the field of initial and continuous teacher training.
The journal receives contributions of relevant discussion such as:
- Teacher Training in a global society and to meet the needs of diverse populations.
- Teacher Training based on the school and the teacher.
- Research on initial and continuous training focused on pedagogical thoughts and beliefs.
- Standards and accreditation on initial and continuous teacher training.
- Assessment of outcomes in teacher training.
- Alternative perspectives on initial and continuous teacher training.
- Trainer Training focused on the processes of professional development
- Teacher training in collaboration with diverse disciplinary fields
The contributions of researchers, scholars, postgraduate students, academics, and leaders of schools and universities will be received according to the norms and regulations established for the authors.
Editions.
REER issues two annual editions (September-March), and in each version presents six articles and three revisions and/or reviews previously evaluated according to the Publishing Policy of the journal.
